Even though the mouse is very handy, it may happen that you need to perform an action in Windows using the keyboard. In fact, it's possible to do just about everything in Windows without a mouse. This may also be something to consider if you have medical issues with using a mouse.
You can have a situation where your mouse fails, and you still need to use your computer.
Most keyboards contain keys used to open the Start menu, and the right-click context menu
The shortcuts available here indicate, in most cases, multiple keys to be pressed. So, for example, if you were to use the "Copy" command, you would press CTRL and C simultaneously, then let go. That would cause the assigned function to take place.
