Using a Browser
tabbed browsing
Tabbed browsing has become one of the most prevalent positive changes for web browsers.

Tabs allow you to have multiple pages open in one browser window, so you can quickly and easily view several pages without a lot of clicking back and forth between windows.
You can open a page in a tab in several ways:
Right-click any link and select Open in New Tab
OR
Go to File>New Tab and navigate to the desired page, as you would if you had just opened the browser window.
OR
Look for a plus sign (Firefox) or a small tab to the right of the last tab (IE). Click on it and a new tab will open. You can then navigate to another page.
Tabs can be dragged to any position that you choose.
To close a tab, have that tab open, and click the X in the Tab Bar or in the individual tab.
